Tryouts – 2028 Summer Team

Thank you for your interest in Grizzlies SC! Tryouts for the Summer 2028 season will be on Monday, June 21, Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 23. Tryouts will be held at District 4 Stadium in North Charleston, SC. Registration will go live on our LeagueApps site in December. Steph Calabrese and Lisa Lindley will both be present to evaluate players at tryouts. Follow the Grizzlies on social for announcements.

REMINDER

Tryouts are for our 2028 summer teams. If your player makes a team and you complete registration, she's registered to play in the summer of 2028.

Players who make a summer team can also sign up for our Fall 2027 season. Fall registration is separate. Fall is only open to players on a 2028 summer team, so players can't sign up for fall alone.

What each team's season looks like

Our 2033 and 2034 teams play 2 to 3 local events and 1 to 2 national events each season. That gives players good competition close to home and a chance to test themselves against top teams from around the country.

Our 2035, 2036 and 2037 teams play 3 to 4 local events each season. The focus is on building skills, confidence and a love for the game close to home.

Playing up

Lacrosse is growing fast in our area, and every grade has tremendous talent. Because of that, we encourage players to try out for their own age group.

Team placement and cuts

There will be no cuts for our 2035, 2036 and 2037 teams. Every player who tries out will have a spot.

For our 2033 and 2034 teams, how teams are formed will depend on how many players try out. If enough players try out, we may form two teams in an age group. Cuts are possible at these ages.

Tryout dates, times and registration details are below.

Registration opens on grizzliessc.leagueapps.com.
